Hey girl hey! So many of my blogging friends and I talk about various ways to grow. It’s so hard as a blogger to get the word out about your posts, social media accounts, and products. Throughout my time as a blogger, I have learned a ton of tips and tricks to get my name out there, but I have one tip that is my absolute favorite. Facebook groups! If you want to read more about why you should be in Facebook groups, and what the best ones are, keep on scrolling!
Why Facebook Groups?
First and foremost, Facebook groups are the ultimate way to not only get the word out about who you are, but they’re also a great way to network with other bloggers. I am constantly in Facebook groups doing research on different topics that I have questions about. For example, a few weeks ago, I was wanting to look into more Pinterest marketing. I simply went into one of my favorite groups, and searched “Pinterest” to see what other people were posting about. Not only did I get some answers, but I was able to connect directly with some other bloggers about the topic. In any business, networking=exposure, and exposure=sales. Facebook is the perfect place for you to make this happen.
My Favorite Facebook Groups
If you’re a blogger and you don’t know who Ell Duclos is, you need to familiarize yourself with her ASAP. Ell is a blogger who blogs about beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, but she also blogs about blogging. She is not the type of person to hide her secrets from the world. She has successfully grown a community of bloggers who genuinely share tips and tricks with each other on how to be successful, and Ell always has a blog post for every question that is asked. On top of that, she has various engagement posts in which you can post your links to get people to follow you. I am obsessed with the community that Ell has created, and I’m obsessed with all of the work she does to help fellow bloggers. PS: She has an amazing Pinterest course that I am so glad I took! It helped boost my blog views by a ton!
If you aren’t obsessed with The Skinny Confidential yet, what are you even doing? Blog-Doo Babes is an amazing group filled with tips and tricks from some of your favorite bloggers. Literally, I feel like everyone is in this group. I don’t engage as much with this group, because I feel like everything has been already answered, which I love. This is another group that I feel I can ask any questions and get top-notch advice from some of the best bloggers in the game. I’ve asked questions about laptops and SEO before, and I’ve gained so much knowledge from awesome and motivated bloggers. It’s a very well-ran group as well. It doesn’t feel spammy or too hard to keep up with. Everything is super organized, and I don’t feel like people try to over promote themselves. As Lauren says, we love.
Although this is an exclusive group for Style Collective members only, I couldn’t write this post without mentioning it! I love the encouragement and support that I get in this group. It’s just an added bonus to all of the amazing benefits that I’ve received from Style Collective since joining! Annie has weekly posts for engagement, as well as monthly kits that help prep you for the whole entire month. I did a whole post on why you should join Style Collective HERE. If you’re ready to jump in immediately, click HERE to join!
If you’re a blogger, I’m sure you know all about Julie Solomon. She’s the ultimate blogging and influencing guru. This Facebook group works hand in hand with her amazing podcast that I highly recommend. On top of that, you can send in any questions or concerns you have about blogging, Instagram, social media, or anything else pertaining to influencing. I’ve received a ton of insights just from her Facebook group alone!
How to Join Facebook Groups
I have linked each of these groups in the header that corresponds with the particular group. Simply click on the link, and hit “Join Group.” Some of these groups require that you answer a few questions before being able to fully join. These questions usually ask you what your blog/Instagram is, and what you want to get out of the group. Within 24 hours, you should be accepted by the group moderator.
Be sure to familiarize yourself with the specific rules of each particular group. some groups have a strict “no promotion” rule in which you are not allowed to promote your social media accounts unless asked. Some groups ask that you do not post links with the preview showing. Be mindful of their rules. They have them for a reason, and you can be banned from the group for not following them.
Those are my top 4 favorite Facebook groups for bloggers and Influencers! Bloggers, feel free to share some of your favorites underneath this post. What Facebook groups are you joining in 2019?
